The Gurukula – Home of Sanatan Yoga Sadhana and Education, is set at the edge of a forest-mountain region very close to the city of Castelo Branco, Portugal. It is a 21-acre hillside site with stunning panoramic views and many cork, oak and pine trees. The land is bordered by a seasonal stream, and to the south, there are around 30 olive trees, some of which are very old. The accommodations are basic, as we are giving the experience of living closer to nature with a simplistic lifestyle.
